The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle has been service with the United States Air Force since 1976. Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia and other nations have also operated the aircraft. A stipulation in the Camp David Peace Agreement limited the number of Saudi F-15 to 60, holding surplus air frames in Luke AFB for RSAF pilot training. This limitation was later abandoned.
